Scott R. Sehon is the Joseph E. Merrill Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Philosophy Department at Bowdoin College. He earned an A.B. in Philosophy at Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Princeton University, and is the author of three books, most recently Socialism: A Logical Introduction with Oxford University Press (2024). He is a long-suffering Mets fan and once played an interdepartmental pickup game of softball with John Rawls and Robert Nozick on opposing teams.
